Red Jonaprince

Red Jonaprince

This variety, which is a naturally occurring mutation of Jonagold, was discovered in Weert, The Netherlands in 1994. A characteristic feature of Red Jonaprince apples is an extremely deep red colouration affecting its very appetising appearance. In addition, this variety has a long shelf life and is highly palatable because of the exceedingly brittle and fine-grained flesh.
